Bursting of Bunny Color

 

Painting this bunny was so much fun. I’ve been watching and following an artist who uses the happiest, most unexpected colors in her paintings, with little bursts of color seeming to bloom right out of the subject. I decided to step outside my usual comfort zone and give that style a try.

I even added a little color explosion from his ear. I’m still not completely sure how I feel about that part, haha, but the bunny himself turned out so sweet.

I already have the perfect pink mat in mind, and I think he’ll be darling framed for Easter this year. 🐇🎨
