Harvested my first Zucchini of the season tonight! It's the perfect size and I'll be cooking that up tomorrow night for supper for sure! I also picked a few cherry tomatos and some cucumbers which I'm going to make some refridgerator pickles with I think this time and hope I get more to make some actual pickles with the pickling ones. I have 3 this week only and 2 regular cucumbers.
The Patty Pan squash is still producing like .. well I should save overtaking.. my entire bed now. I get one or two a day and they really taste just like zucchini. Love them! Picked a few more zinnias too for another small floral bouquet and look at these pretty Cactus Zinnias the pink and lighter orange... so pretty! I'm loving them.
My Watermelons are growing, I'm still waiting on the Moon & Stars variety to set fruit, but I have blooms all over and the vines are wild and everywhere! These are Crimson Sweet watermelons.
