Fiber Prepping

 I love my long covered deck! We plan to fix some boards and restain it when it cools down a little. But I have spent the past week every evening watching the sunsets and picking wool and carding it. 

This is my setup. My DH made these handy screens that I use as dry racks for my wool after I wash it, then I toss small chunks into my picker and then I run it through my drum carder 2 or 3 times. I have large hand combs too I like to use sometimes too, depends on the fleece for sure.
