Old Town Mystery, Block 1 FINAL CLUE

 

Here is my first block of 25! The big mystery reveal came out during New Year’s week, and as always, I spent New Year’s Day sewing the Merry Mayhem mystery quilt. With the holidays, though, I always feel like I fall behind on Bonnie Hunter’s yearly mystery around this time.

I’ve finished Clue 8 and am now pulling from all the previous clues to create the blocks—so exciting! There’s still a lot of sewing ahead to complete this quilt.

I can’t help but wonder if anyone has calculated the total number of pieces in this quilt. It must be a lot! I still need to cut the sashing strips and centers, but once that’s done, it’s just a matter of sewing, ironing, sewing some more... and on and on!
