fluffy fun

Art batts are so pretty to spin.  I grabbed some of my creamy colored Shetland wool,  some black Cheviot, grey bfl (blackface Leinster)and some scrap sari silk to make this smaller 2.6oz batt on my drum carder. 

 I love Grey, pink n black together.  I pulled it off my carder using 2 wooden dowels and made several rolags. 

I'm surprised it made that many.  I need to find a better way to clamp down my drum carder so I can get a more constant rolag. 2 clamps will do,  but I'm not sure how to get the drum to not spin yet. 

I spun up 3 of the rolags so far and then I plied it with some pink commercial sequins that added some sparkle.  

I love it,  the photos do not do justice for the colors n shine on this fluff! I really wanna knit up some fun leg warmers or boot socks with fun fluff on top that shows... I'm. Not sure yet.
