Garden Party UFO Done!

 

Yay another one off my UFO list! I think that's 5 for the year so far! This one is a BOM from 2016 or 2015 even I think. 

It is a pattern from Pat Sloan and it was important in that her block of the month patterns sure helped me with a lot of tools and knowledge about quilting that I am thankful for. Looking at this now like 6 or 7 years later I can sure see all my mistakes, but more so these colors! 

Wow, there are some I think are great, then some I think what was I thinking.. haha but that's the fun of looking back at these quilt tops and seeing how much I have learned since then.  It's also a great feeling to be done. 

I remember back then I didn't have a stash and I didn't want to spend money on fabric so I just used what I had or found at yard sales and thrift stores and added in a charm back or fat quarter pack that I purchased. Fabric can really make or break a quilt pattern I think.
