Mom's Love

 Happy Birthday Mom with love, Amy!

Love how happy my mom was to receive this quilt I made for her birthday this year! I lovely scrappy heart quilt to just say how much I love you Mom! This should help keep her lap warm this next winter for sure! I just love the reds, pinks, and that aqua/blue color!

I started this quilt back in February. It was a pattern by Bonnie Hunter and I added my own twist making a strip pieced border around the outside to make it a bit bigger than the original wall hanging.

If you look close enough you can see where I freehand quilted Love you into the border!
