White Flower Painting

 

I painted this along with one of my online watercolor instructor’s lessons. I’m not completely sure I love how it turned out, but I do like the soft blue-gray background and the little touches of gold around the flower.

Sometimes a painting can feel a little uncertain while still having something pretty about it. Looking at it now, I think it could make a lovely card or postcard, especially with the wide shape and simple floral design.

Maybe this one was less about making a favorite and more about learning something new, which still counts as a good painting day. 🌿🤍
