The cherry tree

my hubby and kids bought me this cherry tree a few years ago on mother's day. Most years I've been lucky to get a few handfuls after the birds get their full,  but this year it was extra loaded and we only picked from the lower branches and we each filled a bucket!

I spent the next afternoon pitting these cherries and then used the food processor and sugar to boil up and can 8 jars of cherry jam.  Mmmm just the perfect amount or tasty tart and sweetness on top of pancakes the next morning with Jayce :)
