Spring Getaway

I booked a few days at a resort out in Gatlinburg this month. I thought it a good time to hang out with my daughter for her last year at college at UTK. It was beautiful, the trees were starting to bloom and the waking up of nature was all around. I enjoyed swimming at the pool most, the feeling of being on top of a mountain at night, the stars were so bright, and soaking in the heated pool and hot tub is so relaxing. I sat by the firepit and just watching enjoyed the view for hours, reading and just in awe of the beauty. 

 

I was able to find a cute little quilt shop up there that was so adorable and that lady was so helpful and kind. I bought a new pattern, a fat quarter bundle and a Smoky Mountain Quilt panel and fabric for the borders too!
