Flowers Quilt as I go

I saw this tutorial on youtube while on vacation in Texas last month that I knew I would have to try to make. I hopped on Etsy and found a few different fabrics with larger and smaller floral prints in pinks and turquoise colors and cut them out while I was staying up in Gatlinburg this week. 

The lady would made the video recommended that you just sew and quilt as you go keeping the edges raw as you stack several layers of fabric on top of each other to layer the flowers as a sort of petal I suppose.  The are fun to quilt this way too!
