Lavender and Eucalyptus
This year I decided to make a few friends and loved ones some lavender and eucalyptus rice bags for Christmas. I had been to a craft fair last month and bought one for myself for $15 and it was poorly made and the seams broke after only 2 uses but I loved it all warm and cuddly on my feet or neck. I thought I can do better and started sewing one for myself and the hubby.
We loved the bags I made so much I made one for my daughter, then my friend, both my sons and my father for his birthday. Then Jason decided to find fun novelty fabrics and made 8 for his co-workers.
He did awesome sewing up all the bags and adding the rice and they were all hits at his office. I made a few small bags with the grumpy cat for my grandson too, who was helping me sew these up too, stirring the rice and trying them out when they were done. He wanted a few too.
It's so fun to make something for someone.
